Wallace’s actions were indeed shameful and it becomes an even bigger talking point due to the speed at which the impact took place. In recent times there have been a lot of talks surrounding driver safety. Especially with this new generation of cars and after what happened to Kurt Busch and Alex Bowman in separate instances.

Thankfully neither of the three drivers involved in the incident was unhurt, but anything could have gone wrong. Who would we blame then? The cars or the driver whose actions led to someone being gravely injured? NASCAR should definitely look into this and make sure that they hand Wallace a reprimand to remind him that the planet does not indefinitely revolve around him and him only.
