NASCAR iRacing star Timmy Hill and his team are in a dire need of money related life support. With the NASCAR season continuing soon, MBM sits in a problematic situation to restart its motor alongside it.

When North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper gave a statewide stay-at-home-request on March 30th MBM had to release the entirety of his workers. Carl Long, owner of The underdog team is endeavoring to finish its first full-time Cup season. However, he couldn’t keep approximately 30 individuals on the payroll because of money problems.

Despite the fact that Long needed to lay off his whole race crew, the proprietor’s been dynamic, assisting any of the laborers that need assistance. During recent weeks, he gave advance payments to a portion of his crew. A sizeable number of the affected people are the ones living their life “paycheck to paycheck”.

In the season-opening Xfinity race at Daytona International Speedway, Hill stood third, the best completion for an MBM vehicle in team history. However, that stellar result was tormented by a pre-race infringement. The team allegedly changed the bodywork in the nose of the vehicle. And they got a $50,000 fine for the violation.

Hill’s spectacular run in virtual NASCAR could save the team

Hill managed to finish 27th in the Daytona 500 and a 3rd place finish in an Xfinity Series race. Additionally, Since mid-March, Hill has put his iRacing experience to utilize, asserting four top-three completes in the four Pro Invitational Series races at virtual Homestead-Miami Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway (won), Bristol Motor Speedway and Richmond Raceway.

For his performance Hill is getting a lot of media appreciation and live TV airtime. And it has impelled the team to discover potential season-long sponsorships that will sort out the team’s financial issues.

Speaking to Frontstrech.com team owner Carl Long said, “The third-place finish there and the Cup race is the reason why I have something in the bank ready to go back”

Regardless of when the season resumes and if all of his employees return to the team. The team management remains optimistic. And despite the many hurdles, they don’t think that this pandemic will run this small team out of business.
