After recently revealing that Dale Earnhardt Jr would be inviting a special guest to his podcast, a journalist confirmed that NY Racing is trying to field that particular person in the #44 car for Texas and Talladega.

Greg Biffle is a semi-retired American racing driver who was formerly a full-time sprint Cup racing driver, driving for the Roush Fenway Racing Team. And now he looks forward to making a comeback into the racing foray with NY Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series soon. Previously he has driver for a total of 14 seasons as a full-timer in the Cup Series.

In a Tweet, journalist Dustin Albino explained, This will be a fun one. A rep from NY Racing told me yesterday they are trying to run at Texas and Talladega in the next few weeks. Would like to have Greg Biffle in the No. 44 car, though nothing is confirmed. Biffle has competed in five races for the team this season.
