Reacting to the confusion that ensued on the track, veteran driver Denny Hamlin has come out with harsh words against NASCAR.
Following Sunday’s caution-riddled race, the Joe Gibbs Racing driver points out the gray area that was allegedly exploited by drivers.
Also, the 42-year-old even called out his fellow drivers, including Kevin Harvick and Chase Elliott who got the most out of the cautions while the organization remained dormant.

Denny Hamlin goes ballistic as he spews criticism, citing Sunday’s race
Often dubbed the people’s champ, Denny Hamlin is fiery off it just as he is fierce on the track. Following the action-packed Goodyear 400, the driver has come to slam the organization for its negligence. The community was shocked to see a massive pileup during the race involving Hamlin’s JGR teammate, Martin Truex Jr.
Speaking on his popular Action Detrimental podcast, Hamlin has some sharp words as he exposed NASCAR’s neglect once again. He said, “NASCAR got… the order was all wrong like I couldn’t understand.” Curious about the race events, even the reporters questioned NASCAR over the irregularity.
And igniting the controversy was NASCAR’s decision when they let the cars involved in the wreck be placed back in front of the cars that actually missed the crash. While the sanctioning body claimed they maintained caution pace, frustrated Hamlin dismissed it, deeming it “a stretch.”
Seeing the cars he passed up in front of him, he said, “we got to do a better job of getting this order right because what happened is that I passed these cars that were wadded up at the top of the track.”
The actual podcast that was aired recently had a short clip from it posted to social media, causing a lot of debates in the comments. Well, the controversy deepens down as Hamlin mentions his friend, Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott, and Brad Keselowski utilizing the glitch to the full.

Certainly, the huge pileup has had a massive impact on the race. Even as he slams NASCAR for not batting an eye over the issue, Hamlin mentioned his friend Harvick, Elliott, and Keselowski who were all caught up in the wreck still passing him shortly after the pit stop.
He said, “It’s just that they got to get the order better if they got to stop the race or whatever because right now it is it’s getting worse and worse, the whole free for all a caution flies and I see people speeding up to try to cheat a few positions.”

Reflecting on the race results where the abovementioned drivers finished in the top 5, Hamlin said, “That’s why Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick all got good finishes.” Hearing this, fans soon shared their displeasure in the comment section.
“Last 20 laps made a joke of the entire day. Happens almost every week.”
Many felt Hamlin’s emotions as they sided with the driver.
“Denny is correct…affected the 21, 23, and 31 more than him in terms of chances to win but the 4, 6, and 9 never should’ve been able to maintain their positions”
“Denny is correct in my opinion. Those cars involved in the wreck should not be going back to their spot from before the wreck”
