Aric Almirola is pushing hard to keep his NASCAR All-Star race contention hopes alive. The driver is running a hilarious ‘Vote for Bacon’ campaign for his All-Star race seat. The All-Star Race will run next week on July 15th at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

The winner of the ‘All-Star Race’ fan vote will earn a spot in the NASCAR All-Star Race. And the result will be out after the ‘All-Star Open’.

Currently, the voting for the All-Star race seat is reaching its final days and everyone is pushing to earn a few extra votes. The voting is set to end soon and the final count will be done on July 14th at noon.

The result will come out at 7:00 PM EST on Wednesday, July 15th.

Currently, Aric sits at the 9th spot in the voting contest. To strengthen his case he came up with a really smart campaign for himself.

His campaign website states, “Let’s vote Aric into the 2020 NASCAR All-Star Race, and you could win bacon for a year!”

After that, they write, “Submit your All-Star fan vote for Smithfield driver Aric Almirola! Plus, 10 lucky fans could win bacon for a year, a private meet & greet with Aric, and Stewart-Haas Racing Smithfield No. 10 merchandise!”

He posted a video on Twitter and wrote, “Not sure you needed another reason but THIS is why you should vote for bacon. VoteForBacon.com“.
