The start of the 2021 NASCAR Cup season is steadily approaching. In the build-up to the new season, Bubba Wallace and crew chief Mike Wheeler visited the 23XI Racing hauling rig for the first time. The African-American driver is quite excited about this new venture.

The team’s hauler arrived at the 23XI Racing shop, while Wallace and Wheeler were also there to witness proceedings.

Meanwhile, this will be Wheeler’s third team in his NASCAR Cup Series career. From 2005 to 2018, he made his mark with the Joe Gibbs Racing team. For the next two years though, he linked up with Leavine Family Racing before settling with 23XI Racing.

Of course, now that Wheeler and Wallace are in a new environment, they have to perform. Given that the outfit already set itself some lofty targets, they will be under pressure.

Regardless of what happens in the 2021 season, Bubba Wallace is hugely hyped for what lies in the future for him.

What can we expect of Bubba Wallace in 2021?

Without a doubt, many people expect great things from Wallace. The driver is statistically known to outperform his car, and there is a great chance that he can do it again.

There were many occasions in the past where he was in a position to win before his luck ran out.

The Richard Petty Motorsports team is hardly what one would call a race-winning team. Nevertheless, Wallace had to make do with what he had.

In the first race of his maiden full-time season, he managed to finish second. To make matters even sweeter, it was at the Daytona 500 in the 2018 season.

Of course, the pace of the 23XI Racing Toyota car is still a bit of an unknown. Since no testing has been done yet, the pecking order can only be decided when the drivers race at Daytona this year. Hopefully, Bubba Wallace and the 23XI Racing team can prove their mettle among their rivals.
