Over the past few weeks, Chase Elliott has come under a lot of fire. And considering that he is under pressure to qualify for the Championship 4, he needs a break before all the madness. Thus, he and Ryan Blaney decided to go out and have a round of golf. This is because, there is no better stress-reliever than smashing a few golf balls.

The two of them got together with a few friends and had a friendly competition. Along the way, there was plenty of banter. And needless to say, the contest was quite intense, but the game eventually ended in a tie. It is also interesting to note that Noah Gragson had a similar idea, though his golf game was a bit more aggressive.

What lies ahead for Chase Elliott and Ryan Blaney?

This weekend, the Cup Series paddock heads to the Kansas Speedway. Both Elliott and Blaney are still in the running for the Championship 4. However, Blaney is in a stronger position, as he is second in the standings behind Kyle Larson. Meanwhile, Elliott will be hoping that Larson gives him a helping hand in getting two Hendrick Motorsports cars into the Final 4.

Whether Larson obliges or not, is another story, but beyond that it is every man for himself. Rest assured, Blaney will also be depending on Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano to help him. In the meantime, Kyle Busch, Denny Hamlin, and Martin Truex Jr will also try the same thing for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Aside from Kansas, the top eight drivers will be looking ahead to Martinsville, as is their last chance to make the Championship 4. When the paddock heads to the season finale at Phoenix, whoever joins Larson, knows that it will be a no holds barred competition.
