WATCH: Defending NASCAR Champion Kyle Larson Unwraps a Momento from Fellow NBA Champ Giannis Antetokounmpo

Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson recently opened a mystery box. In the box he got a jersey gifted by Giannis Antetokounmpo. The #5 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 driver stated that the jersey is “pretty sick.

Giannis Sina Ugo Antetokounmpo is an NBA player. He is a crucial part of the NBA Team Milwaukee Bucks and is known as the ‘Greek Freak’ for his playing style. Giannis Antetokounmpo is also the defending NBA Champion with his team. Kyle seemed to be elated after receiving the signed jersey.

The mystery box was brought to him by Pristine Austin. In his YouTube channel, Kyle posted a video of him unboxing the various gifts he received.

While handling the Green jersey, Larson conveyed, “All right we got a Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Greek freak signed jersey. That’s pretty sick. That’s cool. Let’s get this framed. He’s like the cheat code on NBA 2k which I haven’t played a little while but he’s the guy he can do it all… except shoot that good.”

How did Kyle Larson fare in Richmond?

The Richmond race has just concluded. Joe Gibbs Racing picked up their first win as Denny Hamlin took the chequered flag. However, it wasn’t a bad race for Kyle Larson. The 29-year-old finished fifth.

From starting at 21 on the grid, this has been a good upgrade. Kyle finished behind Martin Truex and ahead of Christopher Bell. The fifth position finish has fetched him a good 34 points. With this, the defending champion has taken himself to 12th in the driver’s championship with 183 points.

Interestingly, Kyle has been to Bristol to take part in dirt races just 48 hours before the Richmond race. The defending Cup Series champion has been splitting his duties and one really has to think if he’s a superhuman as participating in two back-to-back races is a big deal.

The season has started on a good note for Kyle as he picked up a win in the second race at Fontana. However, in order to defend his title, the 29-year-old would need to put back-to-back stellar performances.
