

The recent Coca-Cola 600 was truly one of the best editions of that race in recent memory. Not only did it create the record for the longest such race in history, the race won by Denny Hamlin also had some bright and memorable moments, for better and worse.
Even Clint Bowyer acknowledged just how good the race was during his FOX Sports broadcast. “This is the wildest and craziest 600 that has ever happened,” he said.

But perhaps there was one moment that got overshadowed and fortunately didn’t get as bad as it potentially could’ve happened after the race.
The thing is, as Hamlin was driving his #11 Toyota to the victory lane, a fan got into a fight with security for God knows what. But just as the Joe Gibbs Racing driver rolled his Next Gen car into the area, the fan was taken away by the security personnel.
Although Denny Hamlin did give a peculiar look as he tried to make sense of the things happening on his way.
How did Denny Hamlin react after winning his first Coca-Cola 600?
Denny Hamlin, who has won the Daytona 500 and the Southern 500 thrice, was missing the Coca-Cola 600 win from his resume until now. Naturally, the 41-year-old was quite jubilant after getting that off of his checklist.
“It is so special. That is the last big one that is not on my resume,” Hamin said. “We weren’t very good all day, but got ourselves in the right place at the right time.”

Even Coach Joe Gibbs acknowledged how important the win was for his driver.

“With Denny to race that hard and that long and to be here and know how important this race is right here in our backyard, this is just a huge deal,” the team owner said.
