At the age of 45, Kevin Harvick is slowly approaching the twilight of his career. However, he is also really invested in his son Keelan’s budding racing career. Apparently, young Keelan has got plenty of experience in the dirt arena and even has a few wins under his belt. Needless to say, his father is supremely proud of his achievements.

Now, Harvick Sr believes that it is time for Keelan Harvick to take the next step in his career. To be precise, the boy is slowly graduating to the asphalt racing scene. As per a recent Instagram video, the child is proving to be a quick learner and quite fast. Both father and son were reportedly at the Anderson Motor Speedway. It is also interesting to note that his daughter, Piper, is also slowly making a foray into the racing scene.

This is because he was eliminated in the Round of 12 itself, along with Kurt Busch, William Byron, and Christopher Bell. He has endured a tough year, coming away with no wins at all in the series, which is surprising. Last year, he was in excellent form and recorded the most wins that year.

It also did not help matters that he got embroiled in a bit of a squabble with Chase Elliott. The two of them have tangled on and off the track on multiple occasions. It got to a point where NASCAR threatened to get involved and discipline the two of them. Luckily, things have since calmed down between the #9 and #4 drivers.

However, it only takes one wrong move to trigger another flare up between them. In the past few races, many of the Playoff drivers have complained about non-Playoff opponents interfering. So the question is, will an old hand like Harvick cooperate in the remaining two races or make himself into a nuisance?
