

Yesterday, NASCAR driver Kurt Busch had his 700th Cup Series race start in Indianapolis Motor Speedway. To celebrate the unique occasion his wife Ashley Van Metre surprised Kurt with an incredible gift.
Ashley sent a banner plane over the Indianapolis Motor Speedway to surprise Kurt.
Kurt Busch posted the video thanking his wife for the surprise on Twitter. He wrote, “My wife is amazing”. In the video, Kurt says, “This is how Ashley turns an ordinary day into an extraordinary day. She sends a plane with a banner ‘Congrats on 700 starts KB. Love AB.'”

After that, Kurt explains that he got a call from his wife asking him to go outside to see his surprise. He said, “She said(on a call) go outside, go see the surprise. Am I was like ‘what?where?’. She says, look up. It’s a plane with a banner.”
Additionally, He thanked his wife for the incredible gesture. He said,

Kurt Busch became the 16th driver to reach the mark
Last week, Busch said in an official statement by Chip Ganassi Racing. He said, “Seven-hundred starts, that is one of those stats where you know that it has been a long run, but I know I‘ve still got some more,”
He added, “I got into the sport at a young age, where guys like Jeff Gordon cut the rope down for young guys like me to have an opportunity. It has been interesting to see the sport change so much over the last 20 years, I feel like I can connect easily to the past, yet still have an opportunity to teach some of the new kids.”

The 2004 Cup series champion has won 31 races in his 21-year long career. Yesterday, Kurt finished the race at P13 after starting from the front row at P2. He currently stands 11th in the 2020 Cup Series table.
