NASCAR Cup Series driver Ryan Blaney had a funny incident after last night’s race. He forgot that he was wearing a mask and tried taking a sip from his bottle with the mask on.

The Team Penske driver had a good run and finished at number three in Thursday night’s race. After the race, he was talking to Fox Sports. And in the middle of the chat, he forgot that he was wearing a mask and tried taking a sip of water from his bottle. As he was wearing a mask all the water spilled on his body and everyone had a great laugh.

After the race, NBC NASCAR posted the clip from his interview on Twitter. The clip got a good response from fans and Blaney himself retweeted it to promote the brand ‘Body Armour’.

However, after a few hours, he clarified that it was intentional and he did as a joke. Bob Pockrass posted a video of his interview with Fox NASCAR where he said, “Of course I knew I was wearing a mask when I tried to take a drink after the race”.

Chase Elliott wins the race ending his bad streak in NASCAR Cup Series

Chase Elliott finally won a cup series race after losing the last two races because of unfortunate incidents. He was followed by Denny Hamlin, Ryan Blaney, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Kurt Busch to complete the top five. Additionally, last week’s Coca-Cola 600 winner and Ryan’s Team Penske college Brad Keselowski finished at number seven behind last year’s Cup Series champion Joey Lagano.

In addition, Kyle Busch got in an incident with Aric Almola and descended to the last spot. Before the incident, he was having a good race and was running at the tenth spot.
