In big moments, be it a big goal, a race win, a touchdown, most athletes have their own way of celebrating. Yet very few celebrations end up crossing the line into a completely different sport. This usually happens when the athlete is a superstar. But the wife of NASCAR driver Kyle Larson has proved to be an exception.

Katelyn Larson’s ‘shotgun’ celebration on her husband’s Cup Series title win was one for the ages. And as if it needed any validation on its iconic and viral status, now it seems to have crossed the circuits of NASCAR and made its way into the football fields of the NFL.

Recently, Kansas City Chiefs’ Quarter Back, rookie Noah Grey recreated the shotgun celebration after scoring his first touchdown.

Grey has been instrumental in his team’s strategic and recent successes, which was again the case as Kansas City Chiefs defeated Las Vegas Raiders with a final score of 42-13.

One can assume that the ‘shotgun’ celebration is performed by those who influence their team’s results positively, both directly and indirectly.

Katelyn Larson’s epic celebration comes whenever Kyle Larson wins big

According to Kyle Larson, his wife did battle through a hangover after her celebrations. But it would’ve been worth it for two reasons- Katelyn Larson has been through thick and thin with her husband, and Phoenix wasn’t the first time she celebrated in that fashion.

In fact, Katelyn Larson has recreated her iconic celebration whenever Kyle Larson has achieved a title or major success.

More recently, the world got a good look at her celebration on the biggest stage of American motorsports. Kyle Larson’s win in Phoenix was the perfect end to a remarkable season and his wife made sure her celebration was worthy of the occasion.

Back in 2020 as well, after Larson’s win in Brad Doty Classic, Katelyn Larson chugged a whole can of beer in celebration.

For now, Kyle Larson and Katelyn Larson will hope to recover from the ‘hangover’ of their success and the subsequent celebrations.

So they can focus on the year ahead in which one Larson would aim to repeat his iconic results on track while the other Larson would aim to create iconic moments to follow up.
