NASCAR- Clint Bowyer COURTESY: GETTY
Recently, popular country music singer Blake Shelton spoke about the newly-retired driver, Clint Bowyer. As it turns out, the musician is fairly friendly with the 41-year old NASCAR driver.
Apparently, Bowyer is not only hilarious but a bit of a wild child as he was capable of starting fires and loved it, as per Shelton
Shelton couldn’t help but chuckle as he recounted an incident, in a conversation with Dirty Mo Media. “No, I’d take it to the next level… Explosions are fascinating to Clint Bowyer. I’m not kidding, like actual explosions!” he said.

Apparently, Freddie Kraft, who is Bubba Wallace‘s spotter, had never fired a gun in his life. He expressed that he made the mistake of mentioning that in front of Bowyer.
That night, Bowyer decided to educate him with a prank. When Kraft went to fire a gun at a can, he did not realize that the can was full.

Clint Bowyer is quite a prankster
It also turns out that there were times when he would turn up to Shelton’s house and create chaos. The country music star confessed that there were occasions when he would go to bed and would get disturbed by some noise.
Unfortunately for him, those were times when he was unable to discern whether the noise was through thunderstorms or Bowyer blowing up stuff.

On one occasion, he pranked fellow driver Kevin Harvick with an exploding golf ball. Later on, he turned his pranking spree onto unsuspecting ticketholders at the Texas Motor Speedway.

Suffice to say, he will be missed in the racing paddock, from a competitive perspective.
The good news is that he will still be around NASCAR circles, taking up the role of a commentator for Fox Sports. This just goes to show that the 41-year old will never lose his love for the sport, even when he is not driving behind the wheel.
