Earlier, NASCAR legend Tony Stewart sat down with Haas F1 team boss Guenther Steiner. The two of them were discussing how their respective NASCAR and F1 campaigns were going. However, the conversation soon derailed into a hilarious exchange, and it was all thanks to Kevin Harvick and Kevin Magnussen.

Stewart said, “Kevin’s [Harvick] having a good year, I think.” He was obviously referring to Harvick notching up back-to-back Cup wins at Michigan and Richmond. That was more than enough to see him through to the Playoffs this year. Sadly, he failed to progress beyond the opening round of the Playoffs, but that’s another story.

Meanwhile, Steiner replied, “Yeah, I mean a pretty good year, scoring points, you know a little bit up and down, Kevin. But normally pretty good weekend.” The Haas F1 team principal was likely referring to the recently concluded US Grand Prix, where Magnussen finished 9th, scoring two points.

Upon hearing that, Stewart was a bit incredulous, he exclaimed, “I mean up and down? Two wins… We’re getting good points.” That drew Steiner short and confused him. “Uh… Kevin didn’t have two wins. Kevin had good points, but no wins.” Tony Stewart continued, “Kevin’s got two wins, we have two wins.”

However, Steiner argued back, “We haven’t, we score points. Maybe you mean the other Kevin.” Then the confusion was finally cleared up when Stewart said, “My Kevin?” To that, Steiner took a cheeky dig at his own driver. He said, “Sure, not my Kevin, because my Kevin didn’t win.”
