Danica Patrick is a NASCAR trailblazer in many, many contexts, on many, many levels. An inspiration for female racecar drivers across the world, Patrick had a rich career that took her from stock cars to single-seaters in IndyCar.

As an active driver, she was one of the most famous and most popular drivers out there, a fact emphasized by her appearance in a music video of Shawn Carter a.k.a Jay Z.

The music video in question is ‘Show Me What You Got’, a song that was released in the year 2009.

Danica Patrick shocked everyone in 2017 when she decided to hang up her racing boots at the age of only 35. Considering the longevity of an average NASCAR driver, one can argue that she could’ve gone on for at least half a decade, if not more.

Anyway, in an interview earlier this year with Sports Illustrated, Danica Patrick confessed how she wishes she was a swimsuit model.

Patrick, who has featured on the ‘front cover’ of the magazine in the past, said of her experience, “I had so much fun. A great experience and I loved it.” 

She added, “I loved it completely, like I wish I was a swimsuit model because it was really fun.”

“I like doing photoshoots and I enjoy the artistic side of it.”

Currently, Patrick has her own podcast show, ‘Danica Patrick Pretty Intense’, in which she and the guests tackle topics and subjects ranging all the way from creative to spiritual matters.

Then there’s the entrepreneurial side of the former racecar driver.

She has her own line of wine and a luxury candle brand.
