Kyle Busch is easily one of the most iconic NASCAR drivers of all time. And that is without factoring in his M&M’s paint scheme and sponsorship that add to his iconic look. However, there was one time when the Joe Gibbs Racing driver really exceeded his own standards of being iconic in terms of his look.

This was back in 2010 when Busch wore a pink, yes, a pink suit during a race, something that really amused Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart.
In fact, the Hendrick Motorsports driver even tried to pull Busch’s leg as he said, “My excuse is that my three-year-old designed my car. What’s your excuse?”
“Mine was by a nine-year-old,” the No.18 driver said in his defence.
Then Tony Stewart chimed in typical Tony Stewart style. “That’s what you need to wear when you go dirt track racing. That way when some big burly guy wants to hurt you..”, Stewart added to which Busch replied, “How can you fight this?”
What’s next for Kyle Busch after 2021 in terms of sponsorship?
Late last year it was announced that M&M’s, after being a part of NASCAR since 1998, after providing fans with one iconic paint scheme after the other over the years on the No.18 car, would quit the sport after 2022.
This led to many speculating and even worrying as to who the next sponsor would be for Kyle Busch.
After all, M&M’s are big shoes to fill, and considering the point Busch is in his career, finding a sponsor which is as iconic and relevant as Mars, would be quite a task.

This was something Coy Gibbs of Joe Gibbs Racing also talked about in a recent interview. Gibbs gave away some information but not the specifics of the deal, as he admitted that he doesn’t deal with the sponsors directly.
“I kind of stick on the competition side. But we’ve got a couple people we’re talking to, so we’re excited about that, excited about the leads,” he added.
Anyway, it remains to be seen who would partner up with the Candyman and more importantly, will the Candyman remain the Candyman once the candies go out the door.
