

Imagine you’re walking by and you spot a movie star. You’ve just entered KFC and then you spot a film star seating next to your table or you’re at your favorite restaurant and you see your childhood hero seating next to you? How’d that feel? Well, that certainly happened to Danica Patrick.

The former NASCAR Cup Series driver came face to face with the Pirates of the Caribbean sensation Johnny Depp back in 2013. Patrick was named the Favourite Female Athlete the day before the Kid’s Choice Awards.
Apart from Depp, Danica also got to meet global superstars such as Twilight famed Kristen Stewart, Bird Box famed Sandra Bullock, and The Matrix famed Neil Patrick Harris. However, it was Johnny who interested the Cup Series racing driver Patrick more.

Talking about this, Danica conveyed, “I was leaving the show so I could get back to the track because obviously race day is today. So as I went out back, Johnny Depp was arriving…Who doesn’t want a Johnny Depp sighting?…It’s just cool.”
What sighting Johnny meant for Danica Patrick?
Johnny Depp shot to fame after his swashbuckling Pirates of the Caribbean series by Disney. Johnny was indeed a sensation back in 2013. The second last movie Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides just came out in 2011 and everyone just talked about how spectacular it was. Danica was no different.
However, times haven’t been going his way since his recent controversy with ex-wife Amber Heard. The controversy is still active, and the case is ongoing to date.

As for Danica Patrick, she has now retired from all kinds of racing. The 40-year-old had been one of the first in many events in American racing history. From being the first woman to win IndyCar Series race to claiming the first pole as a woman, Patrick has been an impressive racing driver.

The GoDaddy Chevrolet driver ran in 191 NASCAR Cup Series races across 7 years of her career, 61 Xfinity races in 5 years, and 116 races over 8 years in the IndyCar Series. Her last race was the 2018 Daytona 500 Cup Series before retirement.
