The modern-day legend has set some strong benchmarks in the sport and has etched his name in history books. Some of his records might be unbreakable as he was quite consistent throughout his career.

Johnson has won the Cup series seven times. He is only the third driver to achieve this feat after Richard Petty and Dale Earnhardt. Jimmie has 83 career race wins. Johnson won his first Cup Series race in April 2002, in front of his home crowd at his hometown track in Fontana, California.

Jimmie has 28 race victories at 1.5-mile tracks, which is another Cup Series record. He is ninth on the all-time laps led list with 18,941 laps. The consistency of Jimmie Johnson is amazing as he had missed only a single race in his 2-decade long career.

Another great record of Johnson is that he has won the All-Star race four times, most by any NASCAR driver. He also has led for more than a thousand laps at Dover -3,113, Martinsville -2,932, Charlotte -1,936 and Texas -1,152.
