A few days ago, the Marvel juggernaut rolled out its latest blockbuster, Spider-Man: No Way Home. When the movie dropped, NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney was one of the people to turn up for the premiere. The Team Penske driver was even on the red carpet and posed for the cameras. However, his friend and fellow rival, Bubba Wallace, decided to have some fun and tease Blaney.

The 23XI Racing driver wondered who he was smiling at. He pointed out that the cameras were focusing in a different direction. Admittedly, Blaney hasn’t responded to Wallace’s jab yet, but he will definitely try to get his own back. One thing is for sure that the Penske driver definitely enjoyed the movie and he promised not to spoil it.

It is also worth mentioning that this isn’t the first movie premiere he has turned up for. Back in 2017, he attended the premiere of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. As it turns out, he is a massive fan of the franchise, so it was a dream come true for him. To say that he loved it, would be a complete understatement. One thing was for sure, his mind was completely blown to smithereens after that movie.

Ryan Blaney will be back in action later on this year

Seems like the Penske driver is enjoying his break from the racing action. Considering that Blaney was at the Spider-Man premiere, it is fair to assume that he was not part of the test at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. Moreover, drivers do deserve a break, and they get one, once Christmas and New Year’s come around.

However, once the holidays are over, he will be back on the grind once again, as preparations for the 2022 NASCAR season continue. Blaney will undoubtedly not want to miss the remaining tests. This is because he will want to make his last-minute inputs on the car before its race debut. Additionally, he will not be at a disadvantage compared to his rivals, in terms of getting used to the car.
