In 2021, Kyle Larson is joining the Hendrick Motorsports team. With the outfit being one of the best teams out there, Larson should be a force to reckon with. Recently, he spoke to SiriusXM NASCAR Radio and outlined a few of his objectives for the coming season.
He said, “Be consistently finishing races in the Top 5, Top 10 and contending. Winning races! I would be very disappointed if we went all season long without a win. Really don’t think that’s the case, I think we will be able to win at some point. I hope we’re clicking at the right time.”
Kyle Larson added that when the playoffs roll by, he and the team will be right up there. The driver also noted that teammate Chase Elliott did not have a particularly strong regular season. However, he managed to buck up when it really mattered.

Kyle Larson has a tough job ahead of him
One would imagine that a year away from the sport may put Larson at a disadvantage. Especially since his teammate is the reigning Cup Series champion. However, the 28-year-old is not the kind of person who will be intimidated by such a situation. Instead, he will relish the opportunity to try and challenge the defending champion. Hopefully, he can wrest the title from Elliott’s grasp.

Kyle Larson is an exceptionally talented driver and has the capability of winning championships. With the Hendrick Motorsports car under him, he now has a car that can match his hunger to win. The only question is, can he navigate his way through the regular season and sustain it in the playoffs?
Larson will have plenty of competition from his teammate, the Joe Gibbs, Stewart-Haas, and the Penske drivers as well. All in all, it will truly be a fascinating battle to see if he can reach the Championship 4 for the first time or even win.
