Tension surely revved up more than the engines did at Atlanta Motor Speedway’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race. The brawl between Kyle Weatherman and Jason Miller took center stage after a nail-biting incident left fans on the edge of their seats. As the DGM Racing driver got out of his #91 Chevrolet, he was shoved against his car by Miller, the crew chief of J. J. Yeley.

Miller’s frustration arose from an incident between Weatherman and Yeley during the 59th lap of the RAPTOR King of Tough 250. While navigating through the draft, Weatherman had reportedly tapped Yeley from behind, which sent the #14 SS-Green Light Racing Car spinning out of control.

Despite Yeley swiftly regaining control of his car, and salvaging his Xfinity run, the incident did infuriate Jason Miller. True to his word, Miller wasted no time in confronting Kyle Weatherman as soon as the driver exited his car.

As per the journalist Toby Christie, a voice had inquired about the pit stall of the #91 DGM Racing team, stating, “He better have some pants on after this race, because I’m going to come find him.” It’s likely that the voice belonged to Miller, who indeed sought out Weatherman after the race.

Kyle Weatherman’s takes to Twitter post the off-track drama

After being pushed by Jason Miller, Kyle Weatherman did not let this episode slide quietly. Following the drama of Saturday’s race, he stirred the pot by opting for a different kind of retaliation.

Rather than taking a serious stance, he took to the platform to deliver his comeback in a series of tweets dripping with sarcasm and snark. The tweets seemed to address the incident, albeit indirectly, as Weatherman cleverly navigated the situation without explicitly naming anyone.

Engaging through Twitter also proved to be a pretty beneficial strategy for Weatherman. It provided him with a direct channel to communicate with his audience and followers.

In response to Jason Miller’s comments, Kyle tweeted a potentially savvy marketing move, asking, “Do we need #PantsOn Merch???” There are no doubts that this witty remark could well enough be the origin of a possible merchandise line.

He also posted a video clip that included the incident alongside a scene from the movie “Step Brothers” and captioned it with, “I didn’t mean to touch your drum set.”

Kyle also reposted a picture from a handle called “Kyle Weatherman’s Pants,” showcasing a close-up image of what seemed to be black pants with the caption #newprofilepic.
