For the first time in his 13-year NASCAR career, Ryan Truex clinched his maiden victory at the 2023 Xfinity Series race held at Dover Speedway. But his precious moment was almost ruined by one of his peers. Just after Truex showcased the victory burnouts and stunts, his brother Martin Truex Jr was running to congratulate him. However, it was fellow racer Parker Kligerman, who seemingly was more excited about Ryan’s win than Ryan himself, following which he nearly shattered a memorable moment for the Truex brothers. But after 8 months of waiting, Kligerman has come up to confess.

Despite elimination, Kligerman stayed back just to watch his friend Ryan Truex win

While discussing Ryan’s Dover win during The Money Lap episode, Parker Kligerman revealed how he yearned for his peer’s victory and said, “You win Dover, I got wrecked out. With like 15 to 20 to go, you’re leading, and I’m like, if this runs green, you’ve got this in the bag, and the whole time I’m thinking, ‘Don’t throw a yellow; everyone just run this thing out; let him [Ryan] have this’.”

Kligerman drew parallels as he traveled back in time, unfurling the decade-old displeasing fate that Ryan Truex had to suffer, costing him victory, and expressed, “It was 10 years prior to that; you were basically in position to win at Dover, and it got taken away with a late race yellow. So, I knew the history; you’re a good friend of mine; I’m rooting for you.”

Ryan’s peer then unveiled that despite being wrecked out of the race, he stayed back to witness Ryan’s win and unraveled the exchange that took place with his girlfriend and said, “Shannon and I are walking toward the tunnel, and it’s now like 8 to go, and I’m like, ‘We can’t leave; She’s like, ‘Why?’, I was like, ‘He’s got to win; I got to go there when he wins’.”

Parker Kligerman expressed his restlessness to congratulate Ryan Truex on his win after a 10-year log hiatus and revealed, “So you win, awesome moment, the crowd goes wild, I walk towards victory lane and then to the pit lane where you’ve done the burnout, you’ve done everything on there, and now you’re coming down the pit lane, and I’m about to run up to your car and say like, ‘Hey man congrats!'”

However, in a bid to be the first one to congratulate his friend, Kligerman didn’t realize the moment was being filmed and confessed to almost ruining one of the most important bits of Ryan’s life. He said, “Then I realized Fox is still filming this and then out of the corner of my eye I see this crazy guy running down the pit lane. It was your brother, and he runs into the window, hugs you over. I almost ruined this amazing moment between you and your brother as you won. So, I just want to apologize if I had almost ruined it.”

Kilgerman lifted the weight off his hest as he expressed his apology to Ryan. But how did Ryan Truex feel when the much-awaited moment came to pass?
