One of the biggest pieces of news this year was when Kyle Busch announced that he would be jumping ship to Joe Gibbs Racing. He spent 15 years at Richard Childress Racing. Ever since then, many have speculated whether he’d be able to come back strong with his new team. Recently, Busch revealed that he thinks it would be possible if he considered how NFL star Tom Brady did it.

Busch stated, “I’m kind of looking at it as a Tom Brady, Peyton Manning aspect where they left great teams, great organizations where they won championships and they were able to win a championship somewhere else. I’d like to think I still have that opportunity to be able to do that at RCR.”

Tom Brady used to play for the New England Patriots, where he won six championships. Later on, moved to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. With them, he once again saw success after he won yet another championship that too, in his first season with that team.

Something similar was the case with Peyton Manning when he first won with Indianapolis Colts and then later on moved into the Denver Broncos. During his final year in the NFL, he once again lifted the championship trophy with the Broncos.

The greats of the NFL have proved that by shifting teams, one can still come back strong and win championships. Kyle Busch can draw inspiration from this. It might still be possible for him to achieve such a feat. Busch has found a new home with Richard Childress Racing for at least the next season. There has been a shift in the environment for the two-time Cup Series Champion. Maybe it could be the perfect foil for another title challenge next year.
