In essence, the virtual Pro Bowl replaces the regular Pro Bowl, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is worth mentioning that Wallace and Snoop Dogg were two of eight participants, split into two teams of 4. Each player got a chance to play a quarter of the game.

“I was just taking it all in and enjoying it and then hearing some of the stories and conversations, it was just, it was almost like, ‘Man, am I really sitting here talking to these guys,'” Wallace said.

“I’m just a race car driver that has no business being in the room with these people but, hey, here we are, being here playing with Snoop Dogg, that was cool. Between him and [former running back] Marshawn [Lynch], those were the two biggest trash talkers for sure.”

Playing like that, I thought going into it, I thought I was going to be the weakest link. But I think we were able to see that I wasn’t. I was kind of the exact opposite. So it was good. It was good.

Bubba Wallace played a key role in securing the win

Apparently, the victory boiled down to experience in the video game arena. As it turns out, Wallace often played Madden, despite his preference for Call of Duty. However, his Madden experience really came through, as he helped his NFC side with a dominant, three-touchdown second quarter. At the time, he faced off against Keyshawn Johnson.

In the end, the NFC side pulled off a 32-12 win over the AFC. Aside from Wallace and Lynch, the AFC team comprised of Kyler Murray and Jamal Adams. The quartet went up against Deshaun Watson, Johnson, Derrick Henry, and Snoop Dogg.

Ahead of the game, Bubba Wallace seriously underestimated his own abilities. However, he was able to surprise himself with his own prowess in the game. Before the game, everyone tried to downplay their talent, but the game itself exposed them, especially Wallace. In the end, there was a lot of fun and games, with banter accompanying it.
