Pop culture is a pretty weird thing. Whatever is trending is adapted leading to results that are both hilarious and absurd, at the same time. Perhaps this was also the case when we saw the faces of several NASCAR drivers on the body of The Rock.

In 2019, after Elon Musk’s viral tweet in which he had swapped his face with Dwayne Johnson’s, leading to a hilarious result of Musk looking incredibly buffed up (naturally), parody account NASCARCASM cooked an idea.

An idea that resulted in the same template being applied to the faces of NASCAR drivers like Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson, Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Kyle Busch, and more as they found their faces morphed on the body of the former WWE wrestler.

The result was, as stated above, both hilarious and absurd at the same time with drivers having names such as Kevin Harvrock, Rockurt Busch, Chase “The Rock” Johnson, and Blane Johnson.

Is NASCAR becoming more like WWE?

Earlier this year, a few drivers were asked if NASCAR in the modern day is edging more towards entertainment than the sporting side of things, walking on the same path as WWE.

Alex Bowman of Hendrick Motorsports thought while it isn’t WWE “for sure,” they’re still going out to “entertain people”, and put on a good show while keeping it all real.

Kyle Busch on the other hand had a simple one-word answer – “Yup.”

Busch’s teammate at Joe Gibbs Racing, Christopher Bell emphasized that they are “definitely entertainers.”

“I can promise you from a person inside the sport, it’s not fixed by any means. The driver, the team that goes out there and brings the fastest car and drives the best race is going to win the race,” he added.

With that said, do you think NASCAR is becoming more like WWE?
