Nate Diaz “Ain’t Doin S**t” Unless UFC Meets His Demand

Bad News for the fans. Nate Diaz said he is not going to fight unless his name is not cleared from all the controversies involving steroids.

A day ago, Nate Diaz announced that he failed a drug test as USADA found an elevated level of testosterone from the test results. Diaz also said that he won’t be fighting Jorge Masvidal until he gets to the bottom of this as he believes he has not taken any performance-enhancing drugs in his MMA career.

A few minutes earlier Nate Diaz tweeted again saying that he won’t be fighting unless USADA and UFC clear his name from this whole controversies.

“Clear my name or I ain’t doin shit..” said Diaz.

That is not good if you are eagerly waiting for the Jorge Masvidal vs Nate Diaz fight. According to  ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, Diaz was supposed to come to New York tomorrow, but the recent tweet from Diaz raises a few question about the fight. We have not even got any official statement from UFC or USADA regarding the failed drug test and whether this fight is going to happen.

“I know everyone is waiting on a UFC 244 update. All I can say right now is there are multiple parties working to resolve it. The fight is not dead, as of this moment at least. Diaz has a flight booked to NY tomorrow, there’s still hope he’ll be on it.”

Jorge Masvidal has announced that he would still fight Nate Diaz regardless of the drug test results as he believes Nate Diaz has not taken any PEDs. However, it seems the ball is in Diaz’s court for now.
