LeBron certainly thinks so, when asked about it after the recent game again Brooklyn he said: “We have enough”. On the other hand, Lakers GM Rob Pelinka is ready to trade any other player than LeBron and Anthony Davis.
With the trade deadline coming up on Feb. 6th, LeBron was asked if the Lakers are "one piece away" from cementing their championship contender status. LeBron's answer was both confident, and savvy, preserving team chemistry by not suggesting weakness: "We have enough right now"

There is some inconsistency in the organisation.

Los Angeles Lakers in Dilemma
So what should Lakers do? Do they stay their hand at the trade deadline to not upset the team or be aggressive and take any steps necessary to improve the team?
LeBron is in 17 year and Anthony Davis is looking to sign a 1+1 deal next season. The time to win the championship is now, the window is getting smaller by the second and Lakers should go all in.
Here is look at three realistic teams with whom Lakers can trade
Detroit Pistons

Kyle Kuzma is looking like the perfect fit for the team as he can lead the young core of Sekou Doumbouya and Luke Kennard. As the team is rebuilding since the current core of Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin might not stay with the team as the former is looking to leave the team in free agency and the later might be traded.
Lakers by adding Avery Bradley and another piece to the package can get two key pieces for a championship roster in the form Derrick Rose giving production at PG position and Markieff Morris an excellent 3 and D guy bringing his “Death Row” mentality and much-needed depth to the team.
Minnesota Timberwolves

Covington, who is averaging 12.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 2.1 threes, would seem to mesh perfectly with the Lakers. Lakers’ could package Kuzma, Quin Cook and the injured DeMarcus Cousins as a part of its trade deal for Covington.
The problem is Lakers might not have enough to close the deal. Especially if the Timberwolves get the “bidding war” they are looking for.
Memphis Grizzlies

Andre Iguodala is a player who’s being frequently linked to the Lakers since the Warriors traded him to the Grizzlies.
Andre Igoudala who can play at positions 2 through 4 and is great on/off ball defender with championship pedigree and Jae Crowder who is a great 3 and D guy, provides the much-needed depth to Lakers.

They could trade for Crowder with a package of Kuzma and Bradley. The problem comes with the trade of Iguodala as the Grizzlies have been pretty adamant about getting something in return. One possibility Lakers could explore is 3 – team trade involving the Timberwolves.
