There has been a rampaging wildfire in the NBA realm. LeBron James, a marquee NBA superstar was responsible for the boiling explosion. After the Los Angeles Lakers‘ playoff exit, James had a revealing press conference, stating he hasn’t decided on his NBA future just yet. Will he stay in LA? Is it time to retire or will the 39-year-old find a new home?
Such questions are circling around the NBA media. Moreover, attention is also being diverted toward his elder son Bronny. After completing a difficult freshman season at USC, the 19-year-old decided to declare for the NBA draft and enter the NCAA transfer portal. Safe to say, a lot of rumors and conversations are centered around the James family tandem.
However, in the wake of such chaos and hectic coverage, James and his son seem unmoved. Just days after his big news, they are seen sharing a relaxing experience together.

LeBron James and Bronny blow off the steam
No matter what happens, the attention never goes off the James clan. Year wide LeBron James faces the pressure of media and narratives. Hence, they have to find ways to relax and the father and son did just that. In an Instagram story posted by LeBron James, the duo were seen sharing a morning ride together along the serene roads of Los Angeles. They shared their mutual love for music by feeling the symphony of ‘Cause I Love U’ by the musician Lenny Williams.

The song is a part of Bronny’s playlist, which his father mentioned in his story. “Early on Vibes,” Bron wrote as he and Bronny swayed and bobbed their heads to Williams’ famous tune. While it’s a way to cope, there is still a lot left to talk about their respective futures.

Previously, James had revealed that he would be willing to shift to whatever team Bronny is drafted to just to fulfill his wish of playing alongside his son. The Lakers do have a 17th pick to hopefully select his son. But the tone of the conversation has changed since then. In a conversation with ESPN, shared agent Rich Paul claimed the four-time Finals MVP wants Bronny to “be his own man”.
While it could mean Bronny is the sole decider of his future, it also means LeBron’s decision in the offseason won’t be motivated by what his son’s journey has in store. It’s bound to be an interesting and active few months for the James family.
