A decade ago, Stephen Curry and LeBron James were thorns in each other’s sides. Now, that relationship on the court has remained the same, but off the court, it’s changed. The two Akron natives previously claimed that their bond was “petty” and filled with “dislike” and “hate.” Recently, Warriors and Team USA coach Steve Kerr called it a “total bromance”. That’s why when the Lakers’ superstar picked up a new sport, Steph was the most delighted one.

Yes, we are talking golf, the same sport that Bron picked this summer during the offseason. After just a few sessions, he was quick to admit, “Addicted. I’m sorry, I know, yep. That’s it”. Again, music to Curry’s ear. It’s not about LeBron liking the new sport that has the Warriors superstar being happy. In fact, he wants others to join, no matter if they are trying it for the first time or picking up the club after a very long time.

I love to see, you know, newcomers, um, come out here, understand the joy that comes with it. It’s just about being around good people, you know, the challenge of trying to just get a little bit better every single day.“During the conversation with NBC Sports Bay Area & California at his 6th annual charity event, Stephen Curry laid down the challenge for another 4x NBA champion. Unlike LeBron, this was not a foe turned friend, and the challenge was for Draymond Green.

I mean, Draymond… He gets out here a good amount. He’s on vacation. He sent me a picture of him playing. And I use playing generously, but he’s out here, so he gets it. He understands it. He’s just staying patient on the actual getting better at it.” Green and Curry have been on the course before, and once the latter even sent a playful warning. “Another thing too, is watch your shadow,” Curry told Green. “So you don’t want your shadow to be in his line so you just draw a straight line here … you don’t want to get a technical foul out here.

It’s not just Draymond who is receiving advice from Curry. The 2x MVP already called LeBron and spoke at length about golf. Even said, “There’s something to work with that swing, though.” James’ amateur swing was the joke of the town, similar to Charles Barkley’s swing. Unlike the 76ers legend, the Lakers superstar apparently fixed it after a couple of sessions.

Just like Stephen Curry, even Draymond Green had issues with LeBron James

It’s no secret that the Warriors and Cavaliers rivalry was cutthroat. So, it’s obvious not only Curry but even Draymond Green was not on the same page liking King James. He admitted on the BARS podcast that early in his career, he “hated LeBron” and that there was no relationship between them. Their connection began thanks to James’ inner circle, which includes Maverick Carter and Rich Paul. The latter is also the owner of the Klutch Sports banner and represents both Green and James. And now both have turned on him, but not seriously.

Both veterans decided to unwind by playing golf; however, the real highlight wasn’t James or Green-it was Rich Paul’s shot, or less of it. Paul attempted to hit the golf ball but completely missed the mark, sending it off course. Despite being a ‘rookie,’ LeBron may have a weird stance, but missing the ball, that’s definitely not him. Which is why the Lakers superstar shared it on his Instagram story. In the video, it was not only James but even Green who laughed uncontrollably to pile on Paul’s misery.

Fighting tooth and nail on the court to having a good time on the golf course. Another reason why Stephen Curry prefers unwinding and has been pleading with other NBA superstars to join. This off-season, LeBron finally decided to join and is really having fun.
