Draymond Green & Co. rubbed it on the Houston Rockets bench after almost ending their playoff hopes. The tense week of the neck-to-neck fight for the 10th seed took a turn after the Golden State Warriors decimated the H-Town with a 6-game winning streak. The drama for tonight’s game started at the tip-off when the injured Rockets’ star Tari Eason wore a ‘Warriors Come Out To Play’ T-shirt, sitting on the bench.

Unfortunately, the game didn’t go in the Rockets’ favor, as the Dubs pulled off a blow-out 110-133 win. Even after dominating them at home, Green & Co. didn’t let Eason’s disrespect slip away. Anthony Slater, The Athletic reporter, stated that Draymond Green and Klay Thompson yelled ‘Warrrrrriors come out to play’ as they walked to the timeout huddle. Gary Payton II also joined the bandwagon while heading to the locker room! Tari Eason’s customized T-shirt is an after-effect of Green’s threat to the Rockets to end their playoff dream last night.

The Rockets have been behind the Warriors for the last few days since their massive 11-game winning streak came to an end. At some point, it looked like the Dubs might give away their 10th seed to them. However, that wasn’t the case as the Rockets’ hot streak fumbled and they’ve now lost 3 in a row.

Moreover, Draymond Green predicted this scenario, hours before the Warriors’ rampage. Last night, speaking to Sports Illustrated, he mockingly said, “Rockets coming out to play… tomorrow will be an opportunity to end their season and their playoff hopes.”

Klay Thompson on Tari Eason’s ‘pretty lame’ taunt

After taunting Tari Eason at the courtside, Klay Thompson reacted to the moment at the post-game press conference. Notably, he didn’t just react to it but also took a dig at Eason for pulling off such an act on the bench. He said, “That’s pretty lame. Especially if you’re not even playing…But you’re just gonna be trolling from the sideline. Bro, what are we doing?”. Speaking of taunting and its after-effects, there could be no better person to advise on it.

In 2016, Thompson instantly regretted his trash talk to LeBron James. After picking up a 3-1 series lead in the 2016 Finals, Thompson said, “People’s feelings get hurt if they’re called a bad word. I guess his feelings just got hurt,” speaking of James.
