While numerous voices from across the NBA world have criticized the 2018 NBA MVP for his antics, Harden seems to be enjoying his time there. From riding a scooter to a basketball game to interacting with popular Chinese influencers, Harden has done it all.

His latest accomplishment just goes on to show Harden’s popularity in China. During a live stream, he sold a huge number of his own wine in a matter of seconds, leaving him stunned.

James Harden sells out his wine in seconds

The 10-time NBA All-Star’s future is currently in the air. After his latest explosive accusations against Morey, it looks like his time with the 76ers and 2023 MVP Joel Embiid is all but over.

The bad blood between Harden and Morey started with Morey’s reluctance to give the 33-year-old a long-term contract. In case both parties agreed, The Beard would have signed a 4-year $210 million deal, according to Spotrac.

Now that it looks like he is on his way, Harden is busy promoting his wine in China. He joined a Chinese influencer, Xiao Yang’s live stream recently.

Interestingly, he sold out the ‘J-Harden’ wines in just 10 seconds, according to SCMP! This naturally left the 76ers guard shocked and this drew an interesting response from him.

“No way”, said Harden and went on to confirm the sales on the computer himself. The clip from the livestream has gone viral across social media platforms and fans loved Harden’s natural reaction.

A bottle of the ‘J-Harden’ wine costs $16.99. Considering he sold 10,000 of his bottles in that brief span, his wine company made $169,900 in a matter of seconds. James Harden surely made 6 figures from this massive sale!

Harden might have pulled off a masterclass in China

Following his ‘liar‘ claims, Harden has faced a lot of flak. However, he has the Chinese public’s support as the NBA superstar is a hugely popular figure in the country.

Moreover, Daryl Morey has a tumultuous history with China. During his time with the Houston Rockets, Morey had made some controversial comments on Hong Kong which offended Chinese fans. Harden had to come out publicly and apologize for Morey’s comments.

It has been four years since that incident and this is Harden’s first trip to China following the controversy. The Chinese fans have surely not forgotten Morey’s words!
