As much as NBA stars value their performance on the court, they equally value their 2K game rating. Every year after the overall rating hits the NBA world ahead of the season, some stars openly express their disappointment on social media or in interviews. Moreover, the Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson has a parallel beef alongside his disappointment with his rating in the last few years. However, Ronnie Singh, aka Ronnie 2K, has responded to Thompson, Kevin Durant, and others in a special announcement.

Apart from players, fans also engage in intense debates after the revelation of yearly ratings. Fans upset with their idol’s rating often took to social media and expressed their disappointment. This season, Victor Wembanyama’s overall rating ahead of his rookie season sparked a debate. Let’s find out what Ronnie 2K has in his stores to answer the disappointed players and fans.

Out of the controversial disagreements with Ronnie 2K, Klay Thompson‘s beef stands out of the lot. Notably, after winning a 3-pointer contest with Stephen Curry in Japan, he took the mic in his hand and said, “Change my 3-point rating, right now!” Other than that he also had issues with the overall rating like every other star. However, it went out of hand when China Klay called Ronnie a ‘clown’.

In response to the disagreements in the past, Ronnie finally chose to open up. He took to his Instagram handle and responded to the players with a special announcement. He dropped a video that started with Thompson’s statement from Japan and included several superstar’s disagreements. Notably, it also had Kevin Durant, who said, “Pretty much I do everything great, That’s why I should be 99.”

During the last season, Ronnie 2K appeared on NBA on ESPN for an episode. Following that, a clip of the episode made rounds on Instagram and Thompson didn’t hesitate to take a dig at him. He took to the comments and wrote, “Y’all really interviewed this clown? I thought NBA on ESPN meant coverage of some of the best athletes in the world. Not interviewing a promoter …. Do better ESPN.” However, Ronnie hasn’t responded back to it yet. Similarly, Bradley Beal’s wife also got into a heated exchange two years ago.
