Damian Lillard seems to be the clear winner of the All-Star weekend. Hours after retaining his 3-point challenge championship, the Milwaukee Bucks star won the All-Star MVP. Now that he almost swept everything he could on the court, he moved off court. Father Lillard created a wholesome moment with his daughter amid his custody battle with his separated wife.

Following the game, Lillard’s two-year-old daughter, Kali, ran up to him and asked him to pose for a picture. Without even blinking for a second, the Bucks star went into his Dame Time mode to pose for his daughter.

Damian Lillard‘s journey after the 2022-23 season hasn’t been an easy one. After spending 11-long-years with the Portland Trail Blazers, he decided to end his ring-less journey with the franchise. After a long-standing trade drama, he found his new home with the Bucks ahead of this season.

In the meantime, he was also going through a divorce with his wife, Kay’La Lillard. Things were under the carpet and it came out to the public during the Bucks trade. Despite the difficulties involved in the situation, Dame kept his things cool as he said, “I’m happy I’m a stable person, I got solid people around me… It’s probably been the hardest transition in my life, all things considered,” reported Yahoo Sports.

Moreover, he is currently in a legal dispute with his separated wife over the custody of his three children. As per several reports, Kay’La has been seeking sole custody of her kids, alleging that Dame had neglected parental responsibilities in the past.

Ever since Lillard partnered up with Giannis Antetokounmpo, the duo has had a dominant run in the East. And the star guard brought in his magic in the All-Star weekend as well. On Saturday night, he went on to retain his 3-point challenge championship, with a crunch bucket at the end.

And tonight, he helped the East team to decimate the West with a blow-out 211-186 win, with 39 points. Eventually, he went on to lift his maiden All-Star MVP trophy and put himself on an elite list alongside Michael Jordan. Lillard became the only second player after MJ to win All-Star MVP after winning an event on Saturday night.
