The Philadelphia 76ers are witnessing an impressive run this season, thanks to the dynamic offensive duo of Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid. That’s been the team’s focal point. Philly is currently ranked number 2 in the Atlantic division at 11-5. The two have been a nightmare for opposing defense, scoring at will from anywhere on the court. The pick and roll of Maxey-Embiid is still unpredictable and working almost in every game. Embiid is a force in the paint, while Maxey is a threatening point guard who can score at will. They are also both excellent shooters from the three-point range.
This pair has been leading the team as championship contenders. Their scoring ability together this season drew comparisons to the legendary Lakers duo.

Maxey and Embiid have each scored at least 25 points in the same game nine times this season. Something that’s a testament to their synergy, who can even deliver under pressure. The only duo in NBA history to produce more such games through their first 16 games of a season has been Elgin Baylor and Jerry West, who achieved this twice in 1961-62 and 1962-63.
