Tyler Herro‘s girlfriend Katya Elise Henry is a well-known Instagram model who boasts a huge fanbase of almost 8 million followers. The couple started dating in 2020 and share two children. Over the years, Katya established herself as a successful internet personality and fitness model. She also works as a personal trainer who has gained a huge following by sharing her workouts online.

Katya is often very expressive on social media, keeping fans updated with her personal and family life. In a recent post, she broke the news of a breast augmentation surgery that she underwent. This put her under scrutiny because it brought up the issues of confidence and self-love that she advocated. Breaking her silence, Katya shared a pensive story on Instagram.

Mother of two, Katya had no choice

Post the augmentation surgery, the model shared another story, breaking down the thought process behind her decision to undergo the surgery. While the surgery was a success, she allowed fans to grasp her primary message via an Instagram Story sharing, “to be clear, I am not “promoting” a breast augmentation…I am simply being open and honest about what I chose to do after having 2 kids I breastfed. however, I have always promoted to do YOU and what makes YOU happy whatever that is.”

Katya then comes clean about her take on body modification before having children. She admits that she was “judgemental” about it, but that has since changed after having kids and seeing her body undergo changes. Then she goes on to request her fans to respect her and support her decision. “This is what I chose to do, and I’m hoping for the best outcome and I’d hope you’d wish the same for me too. Thank you,” Katya wrote. Looking back on her social media activity, she had a completely different view and was pretty vocal about it, too.

‘Confident’ Katya was against augmentation

Uncovering a post Katya shared on X in 2017, her stance on ‘breast augmentation’ was very strong. She had written, “No, actually I’ve never considered a breast augmentation. And I never will. I’m confident enough, I don’t need nothinnnn.” Over time, as we have seen, that would change.

Being an advocate of body positivity and self-confidence, it might seem hypocritical of Katya to go back on her words and do exactly what she was against. However, being a mother changed her perspective and maybe that is something only a mother can relate to. So, before hurling judgments, it would be best to understand where she is coming from.
