There is something about the Charlotte Hornets that one thing or the other seems to creep up on them to dampen their spirits and their momentum. The latest to affect LaMelo Ball?s team is the Kai Jones situation. Kai Jones will not be available for the team as the new NBA season is set to begin.

One of the few positives about last season for the Hornets washout season would be their new center, Mark Williams. He has shown a lot of promise. Recently Mark Williams joined his fellow Duke alumni Paolo Banchero to cheer for the Blue Devils.

Many young stars from the NBA showed up for Duke’s clash with Notre Dame. This match was quite an engaging one. The Blue Devils had this game in their grasp up till the last minute of this encounter. But, one mistake and the fighting Irish blew through the Duke defense and snatched this game from the jaws of defeat with a thunderous touchdown.

Kai Jones has been unraveling for quite some time now. He was missing from the optional team drills and other team activities. And with this new update about him taking a break, it seems like it will be a long time before we get to see Kai Jones in the Hornets’ jersey.
