Tristan Thompson has found himself in a media storm because of his tumultuous relationship with Khloe Kardashian. The two started dating back in 2016, and many cheating scandals have plagued the relationship over the years until it was officially over after June 2021. Their relationship has resurfaced again, in a recent episode of the reality TV show “The Kardashians“. Thompson was apologizing to Kardashian’s sister, Kylie Jenner, for his past actions. He admitted he had made poor decisions. While there is heat around his personal life, his impact on a Cavs teammate has come to light.?

Despite the off-court distractions, Thompson?s professional commitment to the game and locker room character has not wavered as admitted by Jarrett Allen.?

Tristan improves Allen?s and Mobley’s game

In an interview with Sam Yip of the Hoops Hype, Jarrett addresses the question of how Tristan?s toughness has helped the squad with an example. Allen spoke highly of Thompson’s strength and willingness to set the physical tone for the team.?

“He always preaches toughness,” Allen said. “When I was playing in training camp or before the year started, he would always crash the boards, just trying to get us ready to battle during the game. So he’s just telling us just to be strong down there, always be ready to hit somebody and compete.”

Allen credits Thompson with rebounding tips and disrupting opponents’ balance to secure rebounds as well. “He gives me pointers on the rebounds, where to hit certain people when they’re going up for a rebound to try to knock them off balance so you can get the rebound. Just little tidbits like that which go a long way.”

The veteran basketball star is also trying to fix things with Khloe and her sister.?

Thompson trying to mend the broken relationship?

The first major cheating scandal involved a surfaced video of Thompson kissing two women at a bar just days before Kardashian gave birth to their daughter, True. They attempted to rebuild, but multiple scandals marred the relationship even during Kardashian?s second pregnancy.?
