After the downfall, Kanye files for “Yews”

Not long ago, Kanye was projected as having a billionaire value. However, he was hit with financial woes as his net worth was drastically reduced by $1,600,000,000. This loss stemmed from the termination of his lucrative Yeezy sneakers partnership with Adidas. The partnership, which was a significant contributor to West’s wealth, ended following a series of antisemitic remarks made by West.

The fallout from these remarks was swift and severe. Not only did it lead to the dissolution of his Adidas deal, but it also resulted in other partnerships being terminated. As a result, West’s net worth plummeted from $2 billion in 2022 to an estimated $400 million.

To emulate the loss, he has now tried to secure a range of sectors by filing to trademark the term “YEWS”, from restaurants to clothing and gambling.

Both James and Sanders have built successful careers in their respective sports while also making significant strides as businessmen.

LeBron and Deion’s trademark game

LeBron is multiplying his billions to beat Michael Jordan, whose net worth has crossed over $3 Billion. Taco Bell filed a petition with the Patent and Trademark Office to cancel the ‘Taco Tuesday’ trademark held by Taco John’s. In July, LeBron joined Taco Bell in its efforts to cancel the ‘Taco Tuesday’ trademark. He even starred in an ad titled ‘Taco Bleep’, highlighting the absurdity of ‘Taco Tuesday’ being off-limits.
