Problems mount for the LA Clippers as their injury report expanded further. The LA side has found themselves in a rare slump since Russell Westbrook’s injury. On top of it, the team’s trusted superstar James Harden has also failed to deliver in the last few games. As an insult to the injury, the team’s guard, Terance Mann, further opened up about another trouble.

Ahead of tomorrow’s game against the Portland Trail Blazers, Mann addressed the press and took up questions. At that time, a reporter asked if he was dealing with an injury before the practice. And, shockingly, the Clippers star admitted to it. He said, “Yeah, but I’m good. I just had something with my ankle, but I’m good. I’m doing treatment. Getting back.” Nevertheless, he added some confidence, saying, “I’m 100. If I’m out there, I’m 100%. I’m giving 100%.”

Currently playing in his fifth season, Terance Mann’s contribution to the team has come down considerably. The 27-year-old guard only averages 8.3 points this season and it’s solely because of the star-studded nature of the team. Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, and James Harden take care of most of the offense. However, the combination hasn’t been working like it used to work at the start of the season. While Leonard and PG-13 showed consistency, Harden failed to deliver. In the last six games, out of which two he missed with a shoulder strain, he didn’t score past 14 points.

Additionally, the team’s second unit leader, Russell Westbrook, would return only during the postseason. Until then, the team’s second-unit offense has to find its way out of the disarray. ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski stated that Russ had undergone surgery to repair the fracture in his hand.

Apart from Mann, another Clippers guard also joined the injury list

It is Norman Powell, the backup guard for the Clippers. The 30-year-old veteran guard has been a great offensive strength off the bench. Powell averages around 14 points per game with a shooting percentage of 43.5% behind the arc.

Unfortunately, he tweaked his ankle during the game against the Pelicans and missed the last game. Moreover, the injury report suggested that he was likely to miss tomorrow’s game. The shorted-handed Clippers have a weak bench, heading into the Blazers game. It’s a must-win game for the LA side as their 4th seed spot is at stake. The Pelicans are just a win away from pulling them down.
