Among the brands, a particular sneaker brand further capitalized on the yield with its collaboration with NBA star hoopers. Importantly, the god-sister of superstar Stephen Curry, Cameron Brink, also joined the squad.

21-year-old Brink recently set the hardwood on fire with her performance in the FIBA World Cup. She represented Team USA in the women’s 3×3 tournament and clinched gold for the country. Following her success in the international forum, Brink’s popularity grew in the hoops community. Subsequently, she was featured in the latest commercial alongside NBA stars like Kawhi Leonard and Jamal Murray.

Following ‘Swift’ success, sneaker brand collabs with the sister of Stephen Curry and several NBA stars

The world-renowned sports footwear brand, New Balance, saw a massive surge in its revenue after the Taylor Swift event. During the Chiefs game, the pop star was seen walking alongside Travis Kelce, sporting a New Balance 550 shoe, in the tunnel way. Following that, the sales of that particular show went up by 22%, reported Complex. While Swift’s casual walk generated massive traffic with the NB website, the $4.4 billion brand further exploited it.

The brand recently released a commercial involving NBA stars and recent FIBA WC sensation, Cameron Brink. The defending champions, Denver Nuggets star Jamal Murray led the squad from the front. Followed by Kawhi Leonard, Tyrese Maxey,  Zach LaVine, and Dejounte Murray. Aaron Nesmith, Darius Bazley. The brand dropped the commercial on their official Instagram page with a confident caption that read, “We Got Now. 2023.”

Meanwhile, fans in the comments were surprised that, Murray took center stage instead of the LA Clippers star. One user said, “Jamal Murray is now the frontman? Kawhi behind?”

Days after the Swift-Kelce hype took over the sports world, Travis Kelce broke the silence on the issue. In a recent podcast, the Chiefs star said, They’re overdoing it a little bit, for sure,” accusing the NFL on a lighter note. However, the league came right back at the star. As People reported the league’s response. The NFL said, It’s an intersection of sport and entertainment, and we’ve seen an incredible amount of positivity around the sport.”
