Moreover, he didn’t just stop at that, but also left a former Warriors star stunned with his controversial take on Stephen Curry.

In the latest episode of Gil’s Arena, the show featured a short clip from Iguodala’s recent podcast, where he said he would fear Irving over Steph during a crunch situation. When the host asked Iggy whom he would be most scared of in playoffs, he sided with Uncle Drew without hesitation. Iggy said, “It’s not even close,” and went to highlight the iconic 2016 Finals Game 7 bucket.

And speaking of Steph, he said, “With Steph… proven the teams that you can double him and if you just to get the ball out of his hands… that’s the way to combat him. But with Kyrie. He is just so good.” The Arenas crew turned silent for a moment after witnessing the harsh take. However, former Dubs star Gilbert Arenas, who was also shocked for a moment, later laid out a unique perspective backing Iguodala’s take.

While the rest of crew were still taking Stephen Curry‘s side, Arenas barged in with a different perspective. He argued that the Baby-faced Assassin didn’t face much of crunch time during his prime time.

Arenas said, “It’s not his fault… During most of his career… He was blowing people out… You want to think about who hits game winners, and Steph won’t come in here because he never had to do them because f***ing blow you out.”
