The Los Angeles Lakers have a positive update ahead of the blockbuster game. The LA side takes on the Golden State Warriors in the next match-up amid their race to clinch the 6th seed. However, ahead of the game, tonight, Anthony Davis walked back to the locker room in the thick of an intense match-up against the Minnesota Timberwolves with an eye injury. The management announced that the star wouldn’t return for the rest of the game.

Eventually, the short-handed Lakers lost the game miserably in his absence. But, they have a positive update for the Dubs clash. Dave McMenamin revealed that AD is likely to play the Tuesday night encounter.

With less than 24 seconds left in the first quarter, Anthony Davis injured his eyes while dunking the ball. The 9x NBA All-Star left for the locker room in the break and didn’t return for the rest of the game. The Lakers already missed LeBron James for tonight’s game with an ankle injury. Eventually, the two superstars’ absence led to an embarrassing 117-127 home loss. After the loss, the LA side has again gone back to the 9th seed.

After snatching the 8th seed from the Sacramento Kings for a bride moment, they have moved back to the regular spot. Notably, the team has only three games left in the regular season and their next match-up is against the Warriors. They have already met thrice in this season and lost 2 of them. This game could act as the teaser for the knockout clash between the 9th and 10th seeds for the playoff spot.

Just like AD and Bron, Warriors superstar Stephen Curry also missed tonight’s game. After a busy 6-game winning streak, the Dubs decided to rest Steph, ahead of the blockbuster clash.
