Anthony Davis cannot catch a break. The Los Angeles Lakers lost LeBron James near the tip-off time to an illness on April 7. With the leadership void, Davis stepped up. However, midway into the first quarter, a blow to his eye aggravated the injury he sustained on March 16. With that, and possibility of further complications, Davis was listed as questionable before the Lakers’ game against the Golden State Warriors.
However, like the several instances this season, fans expected AD to mark a turnaround near the tip-off time. Luckily, he, despite the injury, was seen entering the arena hours before the game.
