A few hours ago, American standup comedian Aries Spears was seen sitting down for an interview with VladTV. During the discussion, the interviewer proceeded to ask Spears a series of questions about Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green and his not-so-recent suspension from the league. The interviewer highlighted how Green once allegedly threatened to stab Paul George during a faceoff against the LA Clippers. The comedian stated that he did not remember that incident because his mind was busy comprehending something else that had happened during the game.

“The last time I saw was he was coming down, I guess trying to get a rebound, and as he was coming down, he literally like WWF hit a dude in the face with a like a elbow drop,” said Spears. Despite agreeing with the interviewer that Draymond Green is kind of “crazy”, the millionaire chose to defend the NBA player’s “antics” while he was looking to score for his team. “It’s one of those things where if he is your teammate, you’re glad to have him” Spears continued. “If it’s not your teammate, you’re like ‘This mot*******er needs to be thrown out of the league’”.

The 34-year-old has reportedly built a reputation over the past couple of years for being extra competitive while being on the court. His tactic of trash talking to get into his opponents’ heads is well known amongst the members of the NBA fraternity. While the same has not been a matter of concern for his fans, Green’s recent alteration with Rudy Gobert and Jusuf Nurkic has left them worrying on whether his competitive drive will cause him to get into more trouble in the future.

The ongoing NBA season has seen Draymond Green emerging as the Warriors’ seventh highest average scorer and one of its top scorers. At the same time, however, it has also shown him reportedly getting into some trouble with the management over his actions.

Back in November 2023, during a faceoff against the Timberwolves, Klay Thompson and Jaden McDaniels ended up engaging in a scruffle. The situation escalated after Green put Rudy Gobert in a headlock and dragged him across the court. This action led to him being placed on a five-day suspension without pay. Despite what happened, the player chose to not ramp down on his playing style. A month after the incident, during a game against the Suns, he once again got into trouble for hitting Jusuf Nurkic in the face while attempting to block him. Whether it was intentional or not, the Warriors guard still ended up getting suspended for twelve additional games.
