Responding to the Rockets’ struggles, Tari Eason’s mom offered succinct yet short advice in a recent X post. She wrote, “Playing nervous shows! They better get freaking gangsta!!!”

The Rockets appeared more composed in the latter part of the half, compared to how they started the game. Additionally, their offense showed improvement since the first quarter. Despite the Mavericks holding a lead at the half (54-50), the Rockets had significantly narrowed the gap, trailing by only four points.

Moreover, the Rockets maintained their position against the Mavericks. Alperen Sengun led the Rockets’ with 19 points, while Luke Doncic had already recorded a 30-piece for the Mavs at the early stages of the fourth quarter. Additionally, Tari Eason contributed 11 points as the early stages of the fourth quarter unfolded.

Why are the Mavs missing the In-Season Tournament courts?

Part of the excitement surrounding the In-Season Tournament is the unique court designs. Although fans initially had reservations about them, these courts are gradually making an impression. However, in the game between Dallas and the Rockets, the AA Arena featured the regular Mavericks’ court instead of the colorful and vibrant In-Season edition.

The deviation is due to manufacturing defects in a few In-Season courts; prompting teams to revert to their regular courts for the sake of player safety. The Mavericks have yet to rectify their court issues. Hence, they harbor the regular court design.
