LeBron James made waves with his latest venture. The Los Angeles Lakers star partnered with former Orlando Magic guard JJ Redick for a basketball-centric podcast, Mind the Game. The first episode of the much-anticipated show dropped on Tuesday and quickly garnered rave reviews from true hoop enthusiasts. However, Draymond Green confessed that he had a bone to pick with James.

On his podcast, The Draymond Green Show, Green lamented that James started his own podcast before coming on his show. “I’m a little upset that LeBron James is going on a podcast, and he still hasn’t been on the Draymond Green show,” said the Golden State Warriors guard. However, according to rapper Mase, Green is upset for a different reason.

Mase accuses LeBron James of stealing Draymond Green’s idea

In the recent episode of Come and Talk 2 Me, the 48-year-old revealed that Green is upset because James allegedly took his idea and launched a similar podcast of his own. “I’m gonna speak for you, Draymond. You feel like LeBron jacked your idea. You told [him] what you was gonna do in all confidentiality. You said this show is for champions, this is not the regular sports show, the whole idea. And then you went on vacay with him, remember? That was your fault. You went on vacation with him when it look like he was gonna be a free agent. You told him some things. Y’all was playing around, and then he doubled back, stabbed you in the back. Allegedly. Hypothetically,” said Mase.

Draymond Green and LeBron James have a storied history together. Once rivals, having met each other in the NBA Finals four consecutive years, the two are now thick as thieves. Just last month, they attended the Super Bowl together. Their camaraderie was also on display at a Brent Faiyaz concert last year, where they were seen dancing together. Moreover, they have also ventured into business together, owning a tequila brand, Lobos 1707. However, Cam’ron views Green’s friendship with James as a strategic move.

Draymond Green tried to recruit LeBron James

Cam’ron suggested that Green might be trying to get closer to James to achieve personal goals. “Finessing to get what you want. I don’t know this for a fact; it may have been genuine, it may have been to get him on the podcast or to get him to Golden State.” Reportedly, Green tried to recruit LeBron to join him and Stephen Curry on the Warriors before this year’s trade deadline, but he ultimately failed.

However, all hope is not lost since the Golden State Warriors can explore the possibility once again in the offseason when James hits free agency. Would you like to see LeBron James in the Golden State jersey? Let us know in the comments!
