There are around 450 NBA active players, and imagine you find yourself in the top 15 of them in terms of recognition and power. Won’t it feel amazing? It must be so. Zion Williamson and Luka Doncic find themselves in such a list where everyone else is a veteran of the league, with stripes and battle scars to show for making the cut.

Luka 1 and Luka 2 are Luka Doncic’s shoes with the Nike Jordan brand. While Zion’s Nike Jordan brand shoes are called Zion 1. These two players find themselves in the top 15 earning players of the league. Luka has earned 52 million dollars while Zion Williamson has earned 50 million. Though everyone earns their keeps, did Luka and Zion do enough last season to be on this list which does not include the likes of Anthony Davis, Jayson Tatum, or Jamal Murray?

Luka Doncic has had some deep playoff runs. Though he had a dismal last season, he played 15 games in the postseason in 2022. And also played 66 regular season games. In the 2022 playoffs, his team gave the formidable Phoenix team a run for their money. Especially in the elimination game against the Suns, he scored over 25 points in the first half to crush the Phoenix team. While Luka has done some work to be on that list, Zion finds a place only on his potential alone. He played 29 games last season and has never played in the Playoffs. To top it up, he has had a lot of off-court controversies to go along with his rockstar image. Yet these two stars find themselves in the top 15 earners list.
