New York Knicks’ forward Bojan Bogdanovic isn’t doing too well. He recently underwent an MRI because of a ligament injury in his left wrist, which showed significant damage in the area.

As per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, he is planning to undergo surgery for the same once the off-season commences. But his injury won’t affect his fans, who are looking forward to him playing tonight and in the rest of the games left in the playoffs. He will be playing in the playoffs despite his injuries.

The Knicks forward suffered the injury during Game 3 against the Philadelphia 76ers. Bogdanovic collided with the Sixers forward Nicolas Batum early in the second quarter. The incident occurred on a loose ball when Batum dived into Bojan’s ankle to get it. However, the Knicks forward suffered pain and headed straight to the locker room. The impact of the hit would have spread all over the body.

Bogdanovic’s wrist might have hurt for the whole playoff game against the Sixers, but it did not let him quit the game. Even on a small level, Bojan has contributed in the first three playoff games. He scored single-digit points with a 5-point contribution in the last game against the Sixers.

Amidst Bojan’s struggle for a smooth play in playoffs, another controversial injury from the last game has led to the expulsion of the Knicks player. On top of that, Bojan will not be able to contribute much after his injury has become more serious. The player who averaged more than 20 points with the Pistons has averaged only 16.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists in the last 79 games he played with the Knicks. Bogdanovic had 92. 1% accuracy from the free-throw line last year, third-best in the league for 2023-24. However, his on-floor shooting percentage was only 29.2%.
