The Chicago Bulls and the Toronto Raptors are facing each other in the NBA in-season tournament. Both teams are placed in East Group C. However, it is safe to assume that they hardly have any chance of progressing into the playoffs. Even in the NBA championship, the Bulls and the Raptors are currently in 13th and 10th positions, respectively.

Missing out on their key players would prove fatal for both teams in this situation. Will Zach LaVine, in particular, play against the Raptors tonight? The Bulls are worried about the presence of their clutch shooting guard and you’ll be surprised to know why.

After missing out on the last match against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Zach LaVine is questionable for tonight’s Raptors game as well. As per a report by ‘All Raptors Fan Nation’, he is reportedly suffering from right foot soreness.

Alex Caruso appeared in place of LaVine in the match against OKC Thunder. The Bulls eventually lost the match 116-102, thanks to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s brilliance. Caruso massively underperformed, scoring just 12 points in 27 minutes. Not good for LaVine’s replacement, is it? Will he upgrade his performance if LaVine is unable to step on the court even tonight? Other than that, the Bulls’ Lonzo Ball is out due to injury.

Amidst all this, Zach LaVine is questionable to stay for the Bulls. He is linked heavily to the Los Angeles Lakers and there are some internal developments regarding the same. The Bulls star would be a great addition to the Lakers side at this point. However, even if that happens, it is highly unlikely that he will have a spot in the starting five for the Lakers right away.

LaVine pairing up with LeBron James and Anthony Davis would be a sight to watch, though. The Lakers too, were searching for a third star, and did not depend too much on the mentioned two. Needless to say, their rosters will become more powerful if this happens.
